Friday 11th September 2009...

Jim and Jon ventured out on to the strip to look for a new camera for Jon...success...Carol ventured into Grand Canal Shops for handbag search..epic success!..we all met up at lunchtime and had a lovely salad lunch at Wolfgang Puck's Riva in the Pool area...

In the afternoon we all went to Madame Tussauds exhibit where Jim got to cuddle Jessica Simpson among others, Carol went to bed with Hugh Hefner, kissed Jonny Depp and Jon got scared out of his wits in the "live action scarey bit" leading a group of us from the front...

In the evening it was a lovely meal at Wolfgang Puck's "Postrio", a surprise booking for Carol by Jim and Jon...very nice Italian food in St Mark's Square...Then at 10 pm we went to see The Blue Man Group...what can I say?...Fantastic!!..

As this finished close to midnight and we were all tired, we gave the Casino a miss and went to bed...
